One dozen natural bamboo sticks, a great addition to any vivarium tank or cage for snakes, lizards, geckos, bearded dragons, chameleons, insects, tree frogs, small mammal and more. Harvested from our chemical and pesticide free grove in Ohio, USA, these unique pieces have been heat treated with open flame and while hot burnished with a soft cloth soaked in our orange oil and beeswax conditioner. This process softens any sharp points, brings the natural bamboo oils to the surface which harden into a protective shell, forces out the moisture and starches which attract more serious insect damage, and adds the visual richness and texture which will make these look sweet in any setup.

This listing is for an assortment of 12 bamboo sticks between 14" - 24" long, and 1/4" - 3/4" in diameter. Unlike most of our other bamboo sticks that are cut very close to nodes for added strength and durability, these are cut about 1" - 2" inches away from the nodes, leaving small open ends, perfect for insect hidy holes as well as a place for some moisture to collect. Soft enough to lean against a tank wall and the ends could be sanded at an angle for better leans if you're looking for a super clean aesthetic. These are lightweight yet sturdy, with a selection of various sizes that allow for a wide range of uses and set-ups.
