You won't find these at your local big box store! If fact, you won't find these anywhere else. Well designed and beautiful slat blinds, carefully hand-crafted in the USA from natural bamboo.

The slats are split pieces of bamboo around 29 inches wide, threaded onto braided polypro twine, (the same lightweight durable UV resistant stuff I use for my wind chimes). In between the slats, the twine is wrapped around nodular rings of bamboo, all hung off a solid piece of bamboo 34 inches long, so that nails/screws/hooks 30-33 inches apart will support the entire piece. These are in the ball park of 37 inches long, with the bottom also being a longer piece of solid bamboo, which can be supported by the included paracord loop. Hanging the loops off the top support, various configurations are easy to achieve; folding the blinds up(in or out), rolling the blinds up, or doubling the cord to shorten the drop. Rolled up tight for shipping, these are weighing between 5-6 pounds.

The bamboo was harvested from our chemical and pesticide free grove in Ohio, USA and has been heat treated using various artistic open flame techniques and burnished with our conditioner. The convex surface of the slats are the outside of the bamboo and take on a hard smooth surface, while the concave, or inside of the bamboo reacts differently to flame and takes on a slightly different aesthetic featuring circles. These are imperfect with a rugged beauty only nature can produce.
